Bethany Lutheran School

Christian Education For A Lifetime

Curriculum and Technology

Curriculum

The Bible serves as the foundation upon which our total curriculum is based. Each school day begins with a brief devotion. This is followed by a period of formal religious instruction which includes Bible study and the application of Christian principles to daily life. Even the secular courses taught throughout the rest of the day are taught from a Christian point of view by Christian teachers. The entire course of study follows that of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and includes all branches of instruction required by the State of California.

Our teachers are accredited through The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and/or the state in which they received their teacher training.

Technology

Bethany Lutheran School maintains a state-of-the-art computer lab and employs a full-time Technology Coordinator. Computer class is part of the regular curriculum for all grades, K-8. In addition to the lab, wireless laptops are also available for student use. The school website offers helpful information such as the latest school newsletter, sports schedules, and forms that may be printed out at home. Bethany teachers use both voicemail and e-mail to communicate with families and many maintain a class website as well.
